Founded at John Wayne Airport, one of Southern California’s largest commercial airports, Prima Air has continually expanded its presence and capabilities.

During the global pandemic in 2020, Prima Air played a vital role in supporting private charter flights between the Americas and Asia—successfully repatriating over a hundred travelers who were stranded in the United States.

In 2022, the acquisition of Pegasus Elite Aviation marked a significant milestone in our development, adding decades of aviation expertise to our team, expanding our operational footprint, and strengthening our influence in the private aviation industry.

In addition to our main operations and maintenance center—a 37,000-square-foot facility located at Van Nuys Airport—Prima Air and Pegasus Elite Aviation maintain strategic bases at five major airports around the world: Hollywood Burbank Airport, New Jersey Teterboro Airport, Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, Las Vegas Airport, and the Hong Kong Business Aviation Center, ensuring a strong international presence.
